Thanks so much for all your positive feedback and well-wishing regarding the site; I really appreciate it.

Since I launched online drum lessons.com on 5/24/05, I've been spending my precious few free moments working to complete the first installment (a reading book for beginners) in my "Foundations in Drumming" series of self-published instructional books.

If things go as planned (do they ever??), I'll have it done in the next few weeks. Upon completion, it will be available for sale in the online store (private students can purchase it directly from me at their lesson).

Somehow, the domain name "onlinedrumlessons.net" was still available, so I snagged it last night. If you enter onlinedrumlessons.net, you'll end up at onlinedrumlessons.com, but now the monopoly is in full effect! Other links that will get you to onlinedrumlessons.com are: westchesterdrumlessons.com, mahopacdrumlessons.com, putnamdrumlessons.com, and dutchessdrumlessons.com. I don't know why I've gone domain name crazy, but hey, why not???

I plan to make entries on this blog on a fairly regular basis so check back often. In the near future, I'll be enabling readers to comment on my posts, but in the interest of some of my younger students, I've kept comments disabled until I can assure that comments will be suitable for children. Stay tuned!
